Morocco Expands Industrial Capacity with Three New Zones in Casablanca-Settat
Morocco is taking a major step to strengthen its industrial sector with the launch of three new industrial zones in the Casablanca-Settat region, covering a total of 1,144 hectares. The development includes a 660-hectare zone in Mohammedia, to be delivered in three phases, alongside two zones in Benslimane province: Moualine El Oued (350 hectares) and Ain Tizgha (134 hectares).

The projects, in line with royal directives to enhance industrial productivity and sovereignty, are expected to generate over 35,000 new jobs while meeting the growing demand for industrial and logistics land in the region. Partnership agreements were formalized at a ceremony at the Wilaya headquarters, attended by Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour, Wali of Casablanca-Settat Mohamed Mhidia, and regional officials.
