Morocco has once again taken centre stage at one of the world’s most important agricultural exhibitions, marking its 11th consecutive participation in International Green Week in Berlin, which runs from 16 to 25 January. The global event brings together countries from across the world to showcase innovation, tradition and excellence in agriculture, food production and rural development.

The official opening of Morocco’s national pavilion took place today, led by Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari. The inauguration was attended by Germany’s Federal Minister of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, Alois Georg Josef Rainer, along with representatives from the Moroccan Embassy in Germany and key figures from the agricultural sector.

Morocco’s pavilion presents a vibrant showcase of the country’s agricultural diversity and regional heritage. Around 20 cooperatives from all 12 regions of the Kingdom are represented, highlighting the richness of local production and the strength of Morocco’s rural economy. Visitors can explore a wide selection of Moroccan products while enjoying live culinary demonstrations and cultural activities that celebrate the country’s food traditions and craftsmanship.

The Ministry of Agriculture emphasises that the pavilion showcases products with quality, authenticity and traditional expertise, all meeting international standards for food safety and traceability. This not only positions Morocco as a leader in sustainable agriculture but also highlights the growing opportunities for skilled professionals in the sector.

For those inspired by Morocco’s agricultural innovation and looking to build a career in this market, Jobs Expo Casablanca 2026 offers a perfect next step. Taking place on Saturday, 30 May 2026, the Expo brings together employers from agriculture, food production, technology, and many other sectors. Jobseekers can meet leading companies, apply for jobs, attend seminars, and receive career coaching and all free of charge. Candidates are encouraged to upload their CV at jobexpo.ma to be matched with employers before the event.
