Morocco has taken a major step toward strengthening its entrepreneurial ecosystem with the official launch of the Startup Venture Building (VB) program, a national initiative designed to support innovative startups from concept to market-ready business.
The program, introduced by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform in partnership with Tamwilcom, provides startups with a combination of funding, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to help transform early-stage ideas into competitive enterprises. The launch event in Rabat brought together government officials, accelerators, investors, and innovation stakeholders, highlighting the country’s commitment to fostering digital entrepreneurship.
Aligned with Digital Morocco 2030 and the New Development Model, the initiative will operate over three years, aiming to assist over 800 startups nationwide. By offering structured support across all stages of business development, the program seeks to position Morocco as a regional hub for innovation, strengthen the digital economy, and create high-value employment opportunities for young professionals.
For jobseekers and entrepreneurs interested in Morocco’s fast-growing tech sector, the upcoming Jobs Expo Casablanca 2026 on May 30 provides an ideal opportunity to meet employers, explore careers, and connect with companies benefiting from initiatives like the Startup Venture Building program. The Expo offers free entry, live seminars, CV coaching, and the chance to explore hundreds of job opportunities in Morocco’s labour market.
