Morocco has emerged as a standout performer in Africa’s tourism sector, according to United Nations tourism data recently released. The continent welcomed 81 million visitors in 2025, marking an 8% increase from the previous year, with North Africa recording particularly strong growth. Morocco itself saw arrivals rise sharply, with 19.8 million tourists, representing a 14% increase compared to 2024.

The surge in visitors contributed to record tourism revenues, which reached MAD 124 billion by November 2025, a 19% increase year-on-year. These figures highlight Morocco’s growing appeal as a global destination and the resilience of its tourism industry following the challenges of recent years.

This remarkable performance is great news ahead of Jobs Expo Casablanca 2026, taking place on Saturday, 30 May. The event will bring together employers from a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, tourism, and services, offering jobseekers the opportunity to explore career opportunities in one of Africa’s fastest-growing industries.
