The U.S. Embassy in Morocco hosted a forward-looking workshop in Casablanca on Saturday, bringing together young entrepreneurs and creatives to explore the growing role of artificial intelligence in business development. Organized in partnership with Art’s Factory, the event focused on practical ways technology can support innovation while preserving human creativity.
The workshop was led by two American specialists with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and small business development. Cynthia Respert, Chief Operating Officer and Strategic Partner at Rebrand Cities, and Meghan Hubbs, Small Business Program Manager at Velocity, guided participants through discussions on how AI tools can be integrated into creative and entrepreneurial projects without displacing original ideas or artistic identity.
Sessions emphasized AI as an enabler, helping entrepreneurs streamline processes, refine concepts, and expand market reach, rather than a substitute for human talent. Particular attention was given to the creative sector, demonstrating how artistic skills can be structured, branded, and monetized to build sustainable careers and businesses. The initiative reflects the U.S. Embassy’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Morocco.
These themes will continue to resonate later this year at Jobs Expo Casablanca 2026, taking place on 30 May 2026. As Morocco’s largest career and recruitment event, the expo will connect job seekers with top employers, offer free career coaching, and host live seminars on future skills and employability. Candidates can register in advance and upload their CVs on jobexpo.ma to get matched with opportunities ahead of the event.
