Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources for analysis and modeling.
Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning: Develop and test predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Performance Optimization: Optimize algorithms and models to ensure they perform optimally in cloud environments (AWS).
AWS Solution Implementation: Use AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, Redshift, and other AWS tools to deploy data science solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with technical teams, engineers, and stakeholders to understand business needs and implement tailored solutions.
Reporting and Presenting Results: Create data visualizations and detailed reports presenting the results of analyses and providing actionable recommendations.
Required Skills:
Technical:
Proficiency with AWS services, including AWS SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, Glue, and Redshift.
Strong skills in Python, R, or other data science languages (e.g., SQL).
Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost.
Knowledge of Big Data concepts and associated tools (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Strong understanding of data analysis techniques (regression, classification, time series analysis, etc.).
Communication Skills:
Ability to explain complex data science and machine learning concepts to non-specialists.
Excellent data visualization skills (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
Project Management:
Ability to work autonomously and manage end-to-end data science projects.
Capable of working effectively in a team within an agile environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with strong expertise in AWS.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty) are a plus.
Experience with data analysis projects in a cloud environment.
